While our primary mission is to fund research for safer and less toxic treatments, helping families is also a key reason that AWOCCF exists. When a child is diagnosed with cancer it affects the entire family. Arms Wide Open is dedicated to helping families emotionally, spiritually and financially.

 

Here are some ways that we assist families.
 

• Arms Wide Open hosts Hope and Healing Bereavement Retreats and Online Workshops for families who have lost a child to cancer. 

• Arms Wide Open provides monthly grants to families suffering hardship due to their child’s cancer diagnosis.* Please complete and email this FORM to kristen@awoccf.org.

*We accept applications from families residing on the East Coast (Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia).

• Arms Wide Open hosts Helping Hands, a crowdfunding platform that allows childhood cancer families to raise funds without paying credit card and platform fees.
